Yes the old Magnum ran as Swoosh with a single 454 chev on a very early form of surface drive, as I recall. The old Whiplash is apparently in Geelong. I don't know what became of Midstar.

As well as the Worlds in Melbourne in 1980 ( where it lasted about 10 minutes), Gentry sent it to Australia in 1979. It only ran one race, the Sydney -Newcastle, where it blew a drive early on.
