Cobalt 292 - 1999 or 2000?

We just looked at a (supposedly) 1999 Cobalt 292 bowrider. We tried to do some research on this model, but nowhere can we find any reference to this model being offered in 1999. It appears that the...

Re: Scarab pics from Miami Vice

We are in MD and the 86 boat we have has been here the whole time. It was purchased in Miami in 7/86. It was last used in 93 when my dad lost interest in it. Luckily he's the kind of guy who can't...

Re: anyone looking for a mint 28 Pantera with twins?

I don't know but I wouldn't mind having that sitting on a lift behind my house.

Re: Looking for performance exhaust/headers..source?

I'm definately looking at the units with the stainless pipes and not the riser style they offer. Those EMI Thunder systems with the longer pipes look like what I want and the price is not too bad. No...

Re: Looking for performance exhaust/headers..source?

Just looked at the EMI website...Those systems are just what I was looking for. I'm thinking about the EMI-511 system. I emailed them to see if it would fit my boat.
Thanks

Re: Looking for performance exhaust/headers..source?

Yes, I'm sure we don't NEED real tubular headers, but we were looking for something better than stock, both in performance and aesthetics.

Re: Scarab pics from Miami Vice

My father has owned one from the show since 86. We are now restoring it after a 13 year period of sitting. The boat came with 400 cyclones and from what I remember ran pretty strong with that little...

Looking for performance exhaust/headers..source?

Hello- My father is resurrecting an 86 Scarab 38 KV. Its been sitting about 13 years. Anyway, the boat has its twin 400 cyclones rebuilt and ready to go in. We do not want to use the old junk exhaust...

Re: Anyone know this 41?

Haha, couldn't afford it then, can't now.
I have a 34ft cruiser that is expensive enough to run. I've always been a fan of the big offshore boats though...SOMEDAY it will happen. :D

Re: Anyone know this 41?

Yeah, it was like a dream come true. Our family owned a house in the same community he lived and kept Jennys Express. I used to hear it fire up all the time and just wished I could take a ride. This...

Re: I got myself a 24 PANTERA

I know a guy who claims to have purchased Vanillas 93 28. It has the original power, twin 502/465's. Pretty damn fast.
(at least to me anyway)
I saw the picture of it on the Pantera website and...

Re: Anyone know this 41?

I was fortunate enough to ride on this boat with Gary Brightwell in O.C., Md back in 1989. I was there just after graduating h.s. with my buddy. Gary and his mechanic were tinkering with it while we...
