not sure but i dont think it should be up against the gimble bearing---need a coupler that will bolt to that engine and accept the driveshaft from the outdrive but also have a little space in between...

yup---go with stock marine-grade engine...

yup---go with stock marine-grade engine parts----if while the engine is out you choose to put a little hotter cam and lifter set in along with a new timing chain and gear set---- that would be good...
