First boat.
let's be honets.. DAD's boat, that I did drive a few times. 1968 woody, 11' with a 2" step. semi "V" and a 5HP straight shaft, home made motor.
My actual first. 1972 16' hustler speed boat. (damn that rocket, I miss it ) with a 1978. 115 HP Evinrude. I think I was around 16-17. (great times racing and speeding on the rivers and lakes near Chicago. Then 21' Renken CC with 260 HP merc.... In 1994... Infinity. (now the big times. lol )454 Merc. mag.
Next comes the twins. 272 Formula, and currently 33' Avanti. Now. I'm 50. Still got the bug for speed.
Self employed, consulting, GC. and I have the Infinity and the Formula for sale. Spread the word, I need to sell the older toys.
And I don't ever wanna grow up either.

First Boat was a 1978 Searay 19 ft open bow SRV 197. That was last year and bought it at an auction. Bought a Four Winns 210 Horizon this spring and Still have it (for sale 3700) then bought my current boat 24 ft Baja Islander and she does an impressive 64 mph full of gas and 5 adults by gps.

First boat was a 17 foot reinell, about 20 years back, parents dumped it on me. First offshore performer was also owned by my parents and kept at the coast, 38 fountain. It was sold years back when they retired. I recently sold my last performer (if you really wanna call it that, I guess it depends on what you like) was a chris craft stinger with a 502. Currently looking another project offshore boat, one day I will find it........but for the lake here I run a sea-doo challenger with the 240 mercury sport jet. Decent play toy for the lake, nothing to write home about, but a good overall family boat loaded up with options. Looking to do a scarab this winter or a 27 fountain fever, miss my power and top end, but I can still get around the docks.
