I put a Mayfair box and steering on my 26. Up 2" plus a 2" imco short lover, so x is up 4". Haven't run it yet, so no real input for you.

31 scarab exell question...

Looking for some history on this boat. Hull number ends in 31s. It's a Kevlar hull for sur, but not in the Vin. Also has scoops on the side and a race hatch. We h ave never seen another even close....

Restrictor in the tailpipe inlet plugged? Cmi headers have a drilled out pipe plug in there on the later ones.

I started with an 89 scarab 28 excell. Turned out to be too far gone. Would have been a major project, stringers and transom were really soft, not to mention all the other wiring and cosmetic issues....

I'm going to see how long my xz holds up... I have an xr too but they eat a few mph. Putting a box on it and from what I have read on here, raising the x 3".
