Yeah I agree about the speed thing this weekend....it will be packed, we fixed my dads 38...the gound wire on the back of the block had just jiggled out of the end where the bolt goes into the block....

How far should the center of the prop shaft be below the bottom on a single engine?

I feel as if my boat needs a -2 or -3" lower unit. I am currently running a std length imco lower, with a 5 blade P5X. What is the best way to tell if the shortie is the way to go?
