I should ad this picture may be a little deceiving because the gray looks really good on the sides, but the white on the deck and black from the rear around the transom really needs some help.

I have an old '89 Baja 240 Sport that is in really great shape for its age and not being polished or buffed in many years. It's a very unique color for the year and I would love to put some life back...

Mercathode/anode question

So when replacing my starting battery last weekend I noticed the mercathode system was missing the fuse from the previous owner. Also my bilge float is pulling off the hot post on the mercathode...

I just got the number off the prop and it's a 13702 so I am guessing I have a 21 mirage plus thus my RPMs are about 5k or 4900.

I wonder if I should look for a non-plus 21 or 23??

I am thinking I should go up to a 23p, current prop is a mirage 3 blade 21p. Should I be looking for a 23p mirage, or mirage plus? Engine is a stock 365hp 454 mag.

When you say 088 or 990 are you referring to the heads? Also...

Picking up a new boat this weekend....

and was curious what the major differences are b/t a regular 454 and the 454 mag of the '89 era. The engine is a mag and has about 500 hrs on it, I will be thinking about doing some freshening up...
