Has anyone used a pre made cover from Carver Industries or similar ready-made cover on the 340 or 380 PQ?

That's weird. I have a 95 with 454 mags. Stock props and hit 70 on the gps with quarter tank of gas and just me on board. Perhaps the extra fuel/equipment/people will make 6 mph difference, eh?

That's a good thought. But in all cases the drives were fully down. This is not happening while trimming the drives....when they are fully down while coming up on plane.

The other symptom is that it does not cavitate...

My 1995 non-step hull with 454/385hp motors hits 71 on gps so you should be comfortable in the low 70 with the step hull. That is with Bravos so I don't know the impact of DPX.

It, IMO, is very rough which is indicative of the care. It sits in the water all summer (I live near the boat). New motors with 200 hours on the boat also...
