I have a 600 hp carbed 502 with alum afr heads just tested the a/f ratio which is 13.7:1 and my comp ratio is only about 9.8:1.After a short time #5 and#6 plugs are fouled and 7&8 are starting also...

just had Nickerson Performance checkout the motor...

just had Nickerson Performance checkout the motor and dyno it ...ran fine on the stand with a dry exhaust same hp figures as previous owner claimed so I,m assuming the valve train is ok.

Had the same problem with my convicer... merc pump was over $400.00 could not find it much cheaper. Bought a pump from Pep Boys for $22.00 and switched the cans. Ops check good for the past 3 years!
