They fracture over time and then break when you least expect it. I broke a few 20 years ago or so and they all let go running 30-40 miles an hours.

I never saw Whipple advertise 2.9's in marine applications. I always heard the 2.3 quadrotor setups were good to 1100 hp and the 3.3 quads around 1400. What horsepower range would the 2.9's be?

I'm good, took my DCB M26 to an engine builder out of Oklahoma City named Keith Scroggins. He built the engine back in 2000 when the boat was built new for the original owner and shipped it to DCB...
