Bob who??

Call whom ever buddy, I go by my Rimac machine, and a depth mike for my spring pressure, not what "somone told me" or something I read in a powerboat magazine editorial.

Whatever, you just...

The isky 8005, not the 8805,s have a spring pressure of 135psi at 1.875

The "tool room" springs you mentioned are soild roller springs with a Inst. presurre of 245psi.

WOW, props to the heilarc guy. I imagine these pipes are not the best for water reversion, so being there wet, i would not get crazy. Even on some of the new, good stuff, if its a wet system, with...

That spring would give waaaaay too much pressure for that stock EFI. Unless your stepping up to a soild roller with +.700 lift! At 300 hours, and being your changing valve springs, your best bet is...

2112,

He must be reading the casting#'s wrong. In the pic, it appears it has adjustable rockers. And that was long gone by the eighties.

Also i never doubted they were 302 heads. Just going to tell the guy what vintage they were if he supplies the casting#'s. But if he has over 3 inches of stroke, its obviously not a 302.

Lightbulb 302??

Over 3" stroke?? Than its not a 302. The next nominal stroke for a wedge head sbf would be 3.50 and than you would have a 351w. Double check your stroke again. Also, if you post the casting#'s on the...

Sure looks like a 302
