Can G10 / FR4 Board be gelcoated?

I am using some 3/4" FR4 epoxy fiberglass pieces to mount some Zipwakes on the slightly curved transom of my boat. Just wondering if I would be able to spray these with white gel before installing?...

I would bet that the Megazilla is also a bit more conservative in regard to valvetrain stress. IMO, no way does it have 200# on the valve seat and 400+ rate valve springs - really the bane of BBC...

My vote is for pulling the motor BUT it could be an age contingent thing. The last time I pulled the exhaust diverters to replace the O-rings it = about 20 motor R&R's in my 30's!

Where’s the oil cooler? A 500hp motor needs a pretty large one. If you are running a 502 Mag style cooler, it’s not enough. I am pretty sure when oil gets too hot, the pressure drops.
