USCG Documentation vs. State registration
Who knows without a doubt,,, absatively, posolutely,,, for sure, whether it is required to register a boat with the State of New Jersey if the boat is already USCG doc'd?? I know (think) the laws vary from state to state, but I'm speaking of NJ
Thank you!
I'm currently in this 4 week CG cert. class and he says "no way" you do not have to, but he also said, "no ones ever asked him that before"?!?
Not sure I should take his word as the LAW?

Payton as you or anyone could figure ... these are exactly concerns I'm 'playing' with ... find it very hard to believe it could be any other option BUT to register
BUT who knows!
BUT who knows!

How much money are we talking about? It only costs about 25.00 a year in Az. for a 30'er. For the 25.00 bucks I would pay it and know that you are covered.
