Are the gaskets on a stock 525SC water pump just regular big block water pump gaskets? Dave

Yup!! If you want to stop replacing the pumps why not replace with Stainless Marine bypass systems... Had a Scarab with tripps and it really helped even a little HP added... The motors are bullet proof...
