Post The Truck is painted! Making progress towards...

I am making progress towards the boat motor. I painted the body on the new tow truck this weekend. It's an assembled 89 Blazer with 400" TPI motor. Should tow the boat quite well I am hoping.
I changed out my furnace heat exchanger today. For a 7yr old furnace that is too soon!! My Advice, dont buy a Janitrol furnace!! Stamped heat exchangers are no good. Next time tubular exchanger.
Tomorrow I am headed to Bay City to find a new place to live while working at my new job!
So things are happening, I may get to that cylinder head yet!! It would be a strange site to see me on the water in my own boat..

Today was a good day!! I hope it continues!

And I hope everyone else can enjoy some good luck for a change..

Thanks Dave,
I am trying to get some pics....have to borrow my daughter's camera to take some.. I havent driven it yet to work out the EFI, but I am ready to!! Once I get the top on and the tailgate and some interior... one step at a time..
The paint was a big step, now it is a piece of cake!!

Try using stainless steel heat exchangers. I run a dealership service dept and every few years I was replacing exchangers. I finally had enough and had some tests run that showed that the chemicals we use in the shop like brakeclean, carb clean, injection clnr all combined with the air and when burned at the burners were causing acid to prematurely rust out the exchangers. Now five years later the stainless ones are still like new!!

Glad to hear about the improving job scenario.Hope all is on the right track and you can splash your boat in 2002.

Take care
