I've seen it in person and although it looks nice, the problem is the size shank of the ball - I think it's too small to fit a 2 5/16" ball. At least that's what the guy told me who sells them where I was looking at them.

If its a 1.25" shank it is the real deal. My 2" ball in a 1.25" shank is rated to 12k towing and 1200 tongue. The same ball in 1" shank is 6k towing and 600 tongue.
Doesnt aluminum usually just break and not bend.....not sure if i like that.
