Blower Cam Choice
#1
I'm starting my winter project. 25 Eliminator Daytona. 509 cid,8.5 to 1CR, Edlebrock performer rpm #6155 aluminum heads, B&M 420 blower, 2 850 BG prepped holley blower carbs, CMI E tops.Planning on 5 to 6 lbs boost. Suggestions for cam requested. I want to turn it to 6000rpm . Note: I need a relatively smooth idle due to running a Black Hawk drive. It needs to be able to idle around 700 in gear or docking / trailer loading will be nuts. It already does near 9mph at idle with a 500efi in it.
OK motor gurus, whats the best cam choice for this combination and any guesses on HP and TQ #s?
