This weekend we were joking about the top questions everyone asks as they walk up to your boat. Our #1 one was-is that a Baja? #2-how fast is it? #3-how much gas does that hold?#4 What do you get for MPG? #5 Is there a place you can sleep on that?

We were standing next to a friends 42 Outerlimits this weekend in Charlevoix, guy comes up and ask if it was a Baja or a Checkmate?

Everybody always asks me what kind of boat it is, I guess because it is a center console without outboards and its not a Contender, Intrepid, Sea-Vee ect ect. The funny thing is the name is right on the side of the hull clear as day.

i used to get " you guys came from miami for a race?" when i had my pantera's. now i get the " whats that thing hold like 200 in fuel?" i just say i will fill up your 1986 ford f-150 if you fill my boat for me
