I've got a 25 Daytona, 91 hrs on the boat, running a single Bravo that was upgraded to a XZ and imco shorty at 62 hrs.
While cruising at 55-60 I noticed that the electric trim gage (I wish I had bought mechanical- maybe this winter) moves about 1/8 to 3/16" at the circumference without my touching the trim button (In either direction). A short while later it will move back to close to where it was.
I thought the sender may have loosensed up but it seems to be secure.
I have not yet found any evidence of hydraulic leaks which of course would allow the drive to move from the forces of boating.
The drive seems tight when you just grab it and try to move it up and down by hand. My digital GPS speedo is at Nordskog for repair- when i get it back it may tell me if the drive is actually moving due to the 2-3mph speed swing i would expect at this change in actual trim.
Do these things just wear out and get a bad spot at the setting where it spends most of it's life??
