I think you should probably be running 28 Bravos. Had a friend with a 353 with 500's and he ran 30 Bravo's.

Does the alarm horn work?

I'm wondering if the engines are in guardian mode?

Borrow a set of 26's.

How high are you trimming?

....and how long did it take you to get it on the boat stands and off your trailer? #interesting

Good luck with the prop situation.
But I must ask, how'd you get it on the stands in your driveway?

You should be able to spin 28's much higher than 4000 rpms trimmed out at sea level with 1.50 ratio drives and it should have 1.50's.
Any chance the drives are 1.36 ratio?? If they are for some reason 1.36's, you will need to drop down in pitch to 24's or labbed 26's.

If not 1.36's then I'm thinking you may be in 80% guardian mode as well.

Does it get to 4000 rpms WITHOUT trimming up?? What GPS speed are you seeing at 4000rpms?
