"Friendship I" made it's racing debut this passed weekend in OPA's Atlantic City Race. Joe Iglio purchased the 1977 24' Pantera last year and spent the passed year restoring/rebuilding it. Joe isn't the type of guy to 'blow his own horn" so I thought I would let everyone know Joe did a GREAT Job restoring it, and it looked beautiful!!
Although Joe's boat had some mechanical gremlins, we look forward to seeing Joe race in Pt. Pleasant NJ August 14.

Yup. .He ran great for his first race. He would have finished if it werent for that minor stuff. And thats all he was setting out to do this race ...Finish.

I want to congratulate Joe on his trust and ability to race a 1977 Pantera! We wish him luck on his racing career and if you need any help feel free to ask, we support you and encourage you to give it hell!!! Pepe.

Thank's for all the support and motivation along the way. As the name implies (FS 1) Pepe, Joe, and Linda have been there to answer all the questions I had through out this project (even on Sunday). Pantera Boats Is a class act. Bob and Mark helped find the hull and are always available to lend a hand. Bruce made the dream come true, with out his help we would have never been able to get there. I know I missed a few and just know that a thank you is still there for ya.
FRIENDSHIP 1 is named for all of you. TRUE friends!!! It's nice to know your there. Thanks to all.

She really handles well. Loves the rough stuff. We ran the front strech at 68 mph. what a ride. Real solid.

We wont be ready for the Point race on the 15 but we are planning for the NY SBI event.
