Alex Hledin, ( Pete from Skaters brother ) PTR is the company, Performance Through Research.
Make BIG power, don't last all that long.Big money to do. But if you want to fly they will pump a 300X.

Just buy a 32 and put 2.5's on her. Don't worry about the speed issue. A 100 plus is moving in a 32 cat.

If you own a Skater and your running 100mph not to offend anyone but your parked. If you own a Skater I think you should be able to back it up.

Your talking about a cat w/OB's the speeds these guys
are telling you is as fast as its gonna go.

If you want that 120+ rock a Skater w/IO's and big ponies
and be prepared for that bill $$ when either one goes or its
time for maintenance but if you got the cash, hell why not.
If you want reliability go with the X's and if you want
a little more juice send them out to have work done.

Cooking along a 100+ all day long sounds like a fun day
of boating to me.

Ryan but thats just 200's thats understandable now if you have a 32 Skater with twin 300x's a 30 Motion will problably right next to you. And then the guy in the Motion will most likely start talking sh*t about you spending big $ on the Skater. Catch my drift I agree I/O cost big $ to power.

you worry about what other people think too much, get what makes you happy..... (and a 32 skater will probably eat that 30 motion if the water is sloppy at all... 28 skater would be a closer comparison to the 30's or motion/spectre/amt.. )

A 28 Skater will eat a 30 Motion, 30 Spectre, 30 AMT for lunch all things equal, the only place those boats will excel will be in big water. On the river or anything under 2-3 footers there is no way those boats will hang with a 28. A 32 Skater will be close in top speed (actually I believe it might be slower in calm water) in rough water 32 hands down. A 32 with 300x's should run 102-105. A 30 spectre with 300x's should run 105-108, a friend of mine went 112 in a 30 spectre (I still beat him with 300 promax's).
