Yeah, that might be a problem then
I thought triple engine boats could also race in SS they just had different weight requirements???

That is a bad a$$ boat!!
To bad it has dual canopy and not a single canopy 4 seater.
Chop the top and your good to go.
I wouldnt mind a 36 w/trips.
129k not to bad a price.

What would the conversion be like on that boat?
Add 2 seats and cut the tops off?
Or would they reconfigure a whole new cockpit?

you probably could do a four seater like you said with just taking the canopies off, but a true pleasure conversion probably would entail cutting out and putting in the normal 5 person pleasure cockpit, probably alot more usable..

So much for 129k after relocating the 1/4 canopies and adding a 5 person cockpit.....
But still well worth it.
Anyone know how many of these 36's they made?

That would be a cool boat to have. I wonder what the cockpit and 1/4 canopies would run from Skater??

I put in an email to Scott requesting their normal 5 persons
w/ 1/4 canopy conversion for Critical Lift.
I'll post it if he responds.

For those who are curious. The amount for the cockpit conversion, what was thrown around in conversation is 30k but Scott said thats still just a guess.

He doesnt know if the shop can do it cause they are so busy
but he said you never know.

I wonder how much the conversion would affect
top speed?

Anyone got any opinions on the handling, speed, quality, strength, of the spectre 32 vs skater 32 with ob's or inboards?

adding a open cockpit would probably slow the boat down 4-6 MPH.... just a guess based on other canopy boats in that size range (36-40)
