MTI had an excellent year in racing which is exciting because now Skater isn't the only game in town. I am anxious to see what the next few years will bring from both brands. It's difficult to build a competitive raceboat that appeals to customers and both have done so with great success.

I still can't find a better looking boat than a cutdown 46 Skater. Nothing says "I'm not f-cking around" like that does.

That would be funny if it weren't such at ignorant statement. I try to not get to involved with these threads, BUT, with statements like that i must. I can certainly give you plenty of differences in the hulls. And if you were to ever ride in BOTH, you would know they're completely different animals.

I didnt think that new boat was an MTI, but he did mention a few so maybe there some more suprises.

I'll just add that i dont think either MTI or Skater will be dominating OSS extreme or Superboat unlimited inthe next few years. Cant wait to see them battle in superboat limited or SCL.

Let's hear some differences between MTI's and the Skaters. Everyone has the brand Loyalty. I perfer Skater because they make a smaller boat that fits my boating and budget, but I have seen MTI's (Gary) Super cat rigging and I like it better than Skaters rigging I have seen. I think this a area were Skater needs to improve in. Just my 2 cents. When you are looking at $600,000 + machines at the docks brand name means nothing. Your Eyes will always tell the truth
