Yes it is and I decided to run a the first gen Hydro Quad-4 ( cleaver type ) as opposed to merc cleaver . Spoke to Shaun Torrente as well as others and Tom @ Hydromotive and the first gen Quad -4 would be best all around prop and yes maybe a tick slower on the big end but 99 % time were @ cruise .
What do you think ?

Shaun would know.

I met him and his family, at the FMO Dec 31 event. Has was here in SW Florida, helping a friend do some dial-in. He really knows his stuff.

FYI: I had tried a Hydromotive gen 1, Q-4 on my V-bottom OuterLimits, back in 2000.

Let me know how the prop does.

The best props we ever ran on my 32 were Hydromotive P-5's worked by Mike at Frank and Jimmies. Might I add they worked really well on a few DW 32's in the superstock class...

Thanks Frank & Paul , I knew I ran into someone who liked them . My logic is you can run engines higher as you have an extra blade . Were they P5-X ? If I run a 32 4 blade then a 31 5 blade ?
I need to talk to you soon about electric power steering soon as I'm about to rig my boat ( Verado pump )
