I cannot even begin to tell use guys how smooth the power and overall ride is on this tub!
The amount of power available is truly amazing! I was worried about docking. Its easier then the blower motors. After all ya got brakes! Ok here is some footage Airtime did today.
It is how you shift the turbine from forward neutral reverse. I just press the micro switch as I pull the shift lever. I think its pretty cool how it works. The propeller actualy stops dead. you can see the cv grease from the exploding boot. I would not want to try this at speed. cool stuff, after watching this thread and the new OL myway thread, I have this insane itch for turbines. Looks pretty cool. What are you runnin for fuel in it? Did Turbine Marine experiment with the bio diesel in geico?

This is the best thread ever.. i became a member to this site for 5hours ago, just so i could read this thread :).. it have educated me to see how you have done things, i have a dream my self, and after reading this the hunger after a single T58 powered skater 28 with ASD8 Drive have gone wild! Many thank for hours of interesting reading! and god luck with your new Twins ;). wish i could get a ride in that beauty, just to bad its on the other side of earth :P..

Dont know what Turbine Marine is doing with bio, (He does not respond to my open forum questions:evilb:) However we will be experementing with it and when we do we will post the results. I am running Kero. |
Gerry, Thanks for the very un-eventful throughly relaxing day @ the ol'shop ! Hope u-get all of the details worked out on your potential trl. conversion to a tilt and swing design ! Sounds like u-have all the angles covered. Have a great time over @ Block Island it is an awsome place for a weekend stay. As you know, will be out on the northern west coast for the beginning of July. Tell John I will catch him just after the 16th, there about's. Oh and make some room for the Sutphen, u-serious about the offer, Kool ! ps: justbustinum -:D - :ernaehrung004: - ;) - see ya soon, I'll bring ya--a pair of nice crabby legs, u-can roast em-over the stacks !

i live off reed st and i drive by your shop to get my 'skater fix' i saw you today in the providence river running pretty good throwing a huge rooster tail!!! congrats on mission accomplished. ps how much money to go for a ride??? i cant' afford the diesel for my cummins. scott |

Gerry i think i saw a few midgets coming out of the tail yesterday. Wish mine stayed togher would have liked to run on the side of you.
