Balsa wood, one of the oldest core materials, is again being used in sandwich structures. End Grain Balsa floor panels are still widely used by most airlines and airframe manufacturers. A large stock of balsa wood is available in all densities from General Veneer Manufacturing Co.

My 368 is full carbon fiber, & hasn't had a single stress crack of any kind or any sign of wear at all in the 6 years I've had it. I've had it in rough Lake Michigan water, as well as rough Atlantic water many times, & it's the strongest boat I've ever had.

I was there when some of the rigging was being done and Pompi and Grant was helping Mike and another Skater rigger.

Tommy from SkaterNation told me he sent Grant down to rig it. I'm sure their were many guys on it, he said they rigged it in 18 days so it would make it to the worlds
