I'm glad to hear that you have been able to enjoy it for a while now Tim. Whats she topping out (mph) at Tim? Hows the balance when she flys?

Thanks guys!

The EFI stuff wasn't bad... there is a ton of info on lt1swap.com for the harnesses and such. I have HP Tuners for the computer mods.
The rev limiters are set at 6000 for now but they spin up to right at 6200 on the limiters. That's with 29ish props and it runs 103-105.
I haven't had any valve train issues yet. (fingers crossed).
I've actually moved the batteries back this spring it was a little nose heavy. I think it's pretty close now. I do still want to shed some weight though.

I got some 32 4 blade props but I haven't really played with them yet. I put them on once and it didn't seem like it pulled them very well.

It sounds like you DID what Skater should have offered along time ago if the cat is balanced. A 28' with small blocks and Arnesons Could be the Schnizzle! Enjoy Tim!

I think a 28 Skater with some good LS motors and Arnesons would be the perfect boat!
Now if I just had said 28 Skater...

Where did you find the best deal on the Crusader manifolds?

I got mine from Marine Parts Source.
PN R028024 for the lower $263.89 now it looks like. They are iron and 1 lower manifold is 35 lbs.
R029016A is the elbow but I didn't use them. It's 162.77.

Unhappy

Well, I broke a propshaft last weekend...
I guess it's time to upgrade to 1 1/4 shafts. I've known I needed to but just haven't done it.
