Thanks everyone! I'll try to get some good video this weekend and some better pics. I'll also try to dig up some more build pics.

I ended up moving the dash 6 inches. At some point in this boat's former life the dash was broke somehow so it didn't look to good to start with and I really wanted to get the weight distribution right.
I figured what better way than to move my fat arse forward a little.

The batteries are right in front of the liner now and CG is about 1/2 inch further forward than with outboards.

Anyone ever been on a tube behind a 24 Skater?

Keep in mind this project isn't finished, just far enough along to start to enjoy. Still need to build hatch doors and scoops, etc.

So that's what the green thing was in the first picture.... The rope protector/guide More pics when you can. I would love to do something like this to my 25 Ocean Express............... Maybe someday

I put the tow rope through some green noodles to try to keep it out of the props... seemed to work.

BTW... my buddy that helped me do a lot of the work did get roosted on the tube!!!

My Bridgeports were very tired and the transom was soft. Kind of got a bad taste in my mouth for outboards trying to keep the bridgeports running.
I had to buy some motors and replace a transom so I figured I might as well be different and make it easier to work on too.
I'm pretty familiar with the LS platform and all the EFI stuff.

It's taken almost 2 years to get it to this point...
