I've seen a few pictures of your build and it's cool!
Wish I had a couple of those LS2s for mine!

Thanks! That's one of the things I was going for. I have a couple of young kids an the wife has been on me for a "family" boat.
If it will pull a tube it MUST be a "family" boat right?

Pretty friggin cool. Did I miss your long term engine upgrade plans. This will be pretty slick with a couple nasty LS powerplants. Talk about big fun on a reasonable budget!

What is the reliability of these stock engines running higher RPM? I run my truck hard with a custom tune but I only see 5000+ RPM for a short while.

What are the effects of sustained high RPM's?

Well... I haven't completely made up my mind.
I've thought about putting all forged stuff in the 5.3s and turbos.
But I'm leaning towards some NA stroked 6.0s. I want to be in the 500-550hp range. I think the NA motors would be more reliable, but I already have most of the stuff to turbo the 5.3s

I'm not sure... but I'm going to find out!

I'm planning on building new motors this winter and I'm not being real easy on these.

I cruise around in the 4000-4500 rpm range right now but seem to be on the limiters quite a bit.

I didn't get any more pictures or videos this weekend.
We will soon. Did have a good time on the lake though!

It's doing great.
