Best speed to use is the 2012 LOTO result of 177mph. Class champ.

That's in a 1 mile drag, 1.1 gears turning a set of 38's well under 6k rpm's.Top speed is still unknown at this point I think. My guess he will be flirting with the 200mph without a doubt. That boat has a lot of cool factor with those beautiful Smith Power twin turbos in the bilge.

It's fast, you need to trade.............There is a youtube video of DP out running FB pretty bad on Grand. I'll try to find it and post it.

Digging this thread back up because I'm thinking.........

What would a 36' MTI ride like on LOTO vs my 40' Skater?

I have my eye on a 36' 700 Merc boat.

Not even close, the mti 36 is 34' running surface, the 40 skater is a true 40' running surface. 6' is huge, not much that runs better in rough water than a 40 skater
