with straps, does it hurt the hull to hang for long periods of time???

Hung a 36 Nortech in there for 2 years (actually sits there over the winter) and the 52 all last summer with no issue.

My friend uses straps to lift his 52' Nortech cat, I built the lifting system for him.
I'm using two Boathoist USA 6500's with the "Gem" remotes like our other two stalls. You raise or lower with a little key fob sized remote/transmitter. Great setup for convenience, and you can override for leveling the two hoists if needed. Check them out. http://www.boathoistusastore.com/sto...le-lift-remote |

I think the straps over time are not good. Would be great for a weekend or so. Also if you have painted hull sides be careful with the straps near the bottom and hull side edge. I have seen many boats down here get lifted and it can cause a problem. They sometimes use a block to keep the strap off the hull side.

is this coming to Dan the car dealer from Orillia?
