The splash rail is pretty shallow. I would allow for 1"- 1 1/4" max. Per side. I have no idea on a 32B. |

Hey Guys -
I have winter plans for my recently purchased 28. See thread with pictures here ... http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...28-skater.html After catching the performance boat fever in middle school during the 1980's (my dad owned a Hydrostream Vasseret), I went to high school, college, etc... and kind of grew up. First boat I purchased was a STV Euro, then an Allison Grandsport, American Offshore, Spectre 30, Allison Grandsport, Talon 22 w/ twins, and now a 28 Skater. Plans for the 28 this winter are new props - have already emailed and ordered from Dave Dewald. I am also planning on hauling boat to Valley Motorsports in MN for new gauges (Livorsi Monsters), powder coat the M & M controls, new carpet, paint touch up, and a few other things. Basically, I just want to clean it up and make it look new. I cannot wait until Spring !!!!!!! Thanks to Dale Rayzor & Double Rigged (Ron) for answering my questions. SkaterJim - your paint job is incredible. Mike Sufka St. Cloud, MN |

Thought I throw this out there to you guys as a winter project. After getting my boat the tires on the trailer had less than 5k miles but 9yrs old. Previous owner never changed them.
I replaced all 5 and check bearings. Found very little grease from when trailer was new. Check your trailers and date codes on the tires. Leads to trouble free summer! |
Ron your boat and garage are impressively clean. I cant believe that boat has ever seen the salt water. I orderd my 400s from johny, will be selling old motors and accessories.
|
That's great news Bill. Boat has been in salt water many times already. Just takes a lot of work to keep it nice! Part of what we do LOL! !:boat: :ernaehrung004:

First of Feb 2016 and O/B's absolutely dominated the Skater thread as they did throughout 2015...says something to the legacy of the smaller Skaters and their following!

Maybe someone needs to let Pete know us little guys are still here.

Well boys, lets give a warm welcome to a new OB Skater guy, "LL9".
I'm going to post a couple pics of what he brings to the table. He sent these to me via email when I ask to see his ride. Just when you think you have seen them all... |
Looks fantastic LL. how do you like the windshield?
|
"Very Nice LL"
|
Very nice, beautiful Skater.....
|
Honestly that little windshield made a world of difference. I am pretty tall at 6,3 and it still deflects the wind right over my head. I can now wear sunglasses and not worry about them flying into the lake...also talk to the person next to you without head sets or yelling. I really enjoy it. Thanks again for posting the pics flight plan and I appreciate all the kind words :). Gotta love skaters
|
Beautiful 28.... Thanks for sharing it with us.
|
Very very nice 28!!!!
|
Beautiful boat! Welcome to Skater Outboard Brotherhood, LL9!
|
Man that's nice, anyone know where anymore 28's that could be for sale are hiding?
|
Hi LL9 ! Just courious on the size of the garmin you have and model ?trying to decide how big I can go
Thanks Tom |

What Lake is that? Boat is really nice. Gotta love Yellow! Aero hit a home run with the windshield. I wish I could figure out how to fit one to my 30 without cutting up the deck. Welcome to the club my friend! |
