Here is the rendering Thomas at Skater and I have come up with after considering many options. Much of what you may see as white will actually be more of a silver. I am waiting for a final to come thru which will work a bit of purple into the scheme. Also the "Skater" on the front deck will be different. Waiting on that also.

Hey Everybody, My boat is currently having the sides built up on it so the deck can be attached. I should have some pics of the process shortly. Also waiting on final rendering for paint. We had a problem with the lines running from the sides over to the top of the deck. After deck is attached and exact measurements can be taken we will finalize the paint. Hope to have more for you guys shortly.

Your boat you do what you want but... this is a perfect color scheme. It is doesn't look goofy or overdone. It doesn't need any other colors and I think they would ruin how clean these scheme is. If/when you go to sell it, everyone will appreciate what you have created thus far....adding purple, well, not so much. Just my opinion. I love what you have shown and would be a potential buyer if you ever get sick of it. Already one of my favorite Skaters.

I too agree, and see if you put purple you would eliminate a potential buyer! LOL

Thanx guys appreciate your input and the fact you like what we came up with. Thomas at Skater has a real good idea about what and what not to do. My intention was not to make it too kooky like some Ive seen. Don't know what is going thru some peoples minds when I look at their paint preferences Wow. I like what Ive come up with but someone out there won't. Not gonna go to crazy with interior either. I was actually thinking about possible resale situation also if the time comes. I love outboards but I have feeling that Im going to need more speed eventually. If these 400s don't come out and that has seemed like its usually what has happened in the past theres not a lot of options. Don't really like the idea of trips. Ive been told directly that with these fabled 400 motors the boat should run roughly 120mph. As far as the purple goes Im just curious to see what it looks like. Not gonna add much. There is a good chance it may end up just how it is now. Steve.

Wow, 120 with the 400s, that would be the ticket for sure.

Only Problem with the fabled 400s is they are still fabled. They have been being talked about for years. There are a lot of people on here who know more about it than me. Im new. Something is on the horizon and has been for a while. Everybody claims to have some kind of info. All I can say is my boat is ready for them if they show. And thats all I can say about that. Mums the word.
