Goin to key west but not with boat. Maybe in the future. May ship it to Florida next winter instead of paying to winterize and store. I go down Key West about 5 times in the winter and my Parents live in North Palm Beach so I may ship it down that area.

Steve you should bring it down this year. Would love to have a Skater brother to go run with! It can get very nice in the winter when the fronts come through. If that thing is late getting done how can you wait all winter!!!!!!

Would love to bring it down but I still have a learning curve ahead of me and Id rather know the waters Im running in for the first year while I'm tackling that. Although my parents live on the East coast I'm not fond of the boating on that side of the state. It would be fun to run down to the Keys with someone who knows where they're going. Im not sure at this point whether it will get used at all by me this season at home. Don't think Ill see it until half way thru October and Ill probably just put it away. Im ok with that right now. I know everybody is working real hard and perfection takes time. Im willing to wait. It was in the running for a cover in Speed on the Water and it would have been nice to have that happen. Im sure Skater would have enjoyed the publicity. You can't fight Mother Nature and the weather just won't allow me to get it done. Plus I won't be around NJ to have it available for what they need. Cant help that. Total Bummer.

Well Boys Boat is pretty much done. Goin to Mercury on Monday for a few days for prop and steering fine tune then back to Skater. I have to go do seat and throttles when it gets back. Since the throttles are already mounted may have to do console over but its no big deal at all. If merc is ready for it they can dial it in the way it is and correct those things when it gets back. Movin better than I thought. Thanx to the wonderful people at Skater. I may still get a month on the water before it retires for the winter. Steve.
