Hey guys, well testing all done at merc. Was a lot of fun. Everybody out at Mercury Racing is Grade A and then some in my book. The whole experience was awesome. Boat ended the day at 114 mph still. Ran with 33 inch pitch 5 blade 15 inch diameter Mercury cleavers. Prototypes that will be available to the public in about 10 months. Prop shafts were 2 inches above the bottom. Slip ended up at 8%. Was at 5% when the motors were a hair lower but the acceleration was better up at 2 inches. Boat had 100 gallons of fuel in it roughly. The lake was flat and like glass. A little chop may have helped but we will not know in this round. All in all I'm very pleased with it all. The boat is huge for a 30 footer. Some have seen it can attest to that and weighed in at 5500 lbs dry. I don't think it would ever get over 100mph with the 300s on it. Pete still has to finish cutting in the water ramps. Need to be a bit bigger and then finished off again. They worked great tho.
There could possibly be a bit more in it. I run in Salt water may give a few maybe not. I personally think the fat lady has sung. Not that i may not see a couple mph from the salt and less weight from the gas but the set up is pretty much dead on. The new props are awesome. It will get 114mph pretty much any day not a one time deal. Found out boat has 110 gallon tanks a side. Thats a lot of gas. Probably won't ever fill them but we got above 3 mpg at about 75mph. That gives Saint Ruth 600 mile range at least. Wow. I think thats pretty cool if you need it. Im still making my way back to NJ. Currently in a hotel in Ohio. I knew you guys were waiting so I wanted to get this on the site. If this is a bit short or lacking info Im sorry. Ill get more info later. Im dead tired and going to bed. Have 9 more hrs ahead of me tomorrow. Steve. ZZZZzzzzzzzzz.

Great news. After all the delays and waiting everything has fallen nicely into place.

Hey Guys, Here is a video Tony took. Its with his phone not the best quality but you'll get the picture. Going 114mph in this video. Notice how flat the water is. could have definitely used a bit of chop. Looked much faster in person. The boat in person is totally bad ass. Im so happy with the whole thing. More speed would have been great and it still may get a few but when you see the size of it in person you realize just how big it is. Ill take 114mph all day long. It has about 100 gallons of fuel, no chop and no salt water. Id say that it'll see a few more in its life but 114mph is an every day number for sure. its been hitting that number since it got there. Steve. https://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/IMG_6768.3gp.mp4 Video didn't work trying again. Its in face book.
