Well in an effort to further the Skater research base today we decided to test the accuracy of the OEM fuel sending units and Garmin 7610 data display. I'm happy to report to you that they are if fact very accurate and within the within the Satistical Margin of Error! When the little round fuel gauge turns red go get fuel...

At least we did not have to get a tow from a Bayliner or Fountain

Been there done that. My twins never burn fuel at the same rate. I have learned when one starts cutting out if I keep the throttles down and stay on plane I can usually make it to the house.lol. She sure turned out beautiful Sam. Enjoy. You earned it!

I went to The GLOC Shootout this weekend and stayed with Chris Helt. What a great time and host. I did not get to go for a ride in the 338 AGAIN! Mechanical issues. The Shootout was intense. 20+ MPH winds down the course and waves of inexperienced boaters in the crowd with anchor issues breaking loose and almost hitting our boats. I ran the boat home in 1-2' wind chop and big LOTO type cruiser wakes. It was very balanced and ran through them level. The boat loves rough water. The port engine is weak so no good top end numbers to report. Going to the shop this week to figure out the motor issues. Chris's paint popped in the sun. Lots of compliments on the boat on the paint and handling. It's definitely a bucket list event.
