So after beating up this 308 in some rougher water I noticed that occasionally the cowlings move around back there and pop up on the lip on the sides. Decide rather than break one I need to address it. If some haven't noticed there is a pic of a 28 Skater at Lanier with a Mike Nass cowling gone. They will come off.
Found this really nice all rubber/black plastic hold downs.

Ordered button head screws, painted them official Mercury Phantom Black. They work great.

Well Sam's boat looked so good and in an effort to keep up literally I had Ryan Beckley make some newer looking decals for these old motors.
Have to give some credit to Brett Miller for planting the seed when he did his. I think it makes them look a bit more modern.
Also still working on set up. Have some bigger and smaller props on the horizon too.

Let me give you a hand with the pics Ron. I had the same problem for a long time.I'm assuming you are transferring pics from a phone or camera to an iPad. Probably through email. Try loading them as normal (email to stored pics) and then take a screen shot of your new pic.Now use the screen shot pic to load on OSO. This is the only way to insure proper orientation with either of my iPads. Even my new Air.
I like the cowl graphics. Looks good.

When you blow DR's pics up you normally find other cool little trim ideas...
