Yep, Mazco cleavers have a lot of rake. Also, 30 inch pitch would make sense on a 21 with a single 260. With twins, you will be revving to the moon…
But again, while I have limited experience of the 21 Skater, a friend had an Argentinian splash with an OMC V8, and I’m not sure he had passed through the hop zone at 70 mph.

Had a 24 for 15+ years, used to run into a 21 w twins in Ohio a couple times a year. The 21 never did seem to settle down until it was near top end. For now, I would suggest running in some chop. Get a bunch more seat time!

I had a friend with a 21 (green) with 260s'. The 21 Skater with twins is a bucking bronco until over 80 mph. If you think driving one thru the hop is scary try being the passenger. You also need some choppy water to free up the hull. I wish I had some info on what props worked best for him but, that was 20 years ago. Don't give up on it. Best of luck.

Ask for Pete.
Also might try asking for Tony too.
Good people at Skater & they do care about there Brand, Boats, & Customers. So I wouldn't be afraid to try again and ask for Pete or Tony.
And or request a call back from either of them.
