Make sure that you let us know your results. I've never ridden in a 38 or bigger Sonic. Either way it sounds like you are going to have a blast!

H2o also remember the 31 Sonic has a built in swim platform which makes the AT approx 2 plus feet larger. Good luck in your desicion, both excellent boats, Speed rules!

How fast was the 31 Sonic with twin 500s?

I am thinking about 500HP small blocks fir mine.

cbr the 31 i was in the poker run will Gps a little over 87. It has 500 EFI's. The boat is loaded with ac heat refrig flush head and other options

Not yet. My Grandmother died the Friday before Thanksgiving and we cancelled our trip. We are rescheduling as I write this. Hopefully will have an answer before Christmas. What a present for under the tree
