Walden on Lake Conroe have some decent condo's for rent. That might include access to the boat ramps. Earlier this month my Dad came for my daughter's graduation and stayed in one next to the Yacht Club. Nice place that overlooked the cove that holds the Walden Marina. Well worth the money IMO. I always see people leave their boats on the trailer or just the trailer at the launch overnight. That could free up your ride.
I used to rent a slip in the Walden Marina for $50 per week. It would cost the same for just the weekend. But I've heard through the grape-vine that the manager is no longer there. Not sure the cost these days. Also, expect a scum line from the lake when leaving in the water. I hate that.
If you really want fancy there is the La Torretta Lake Resort. Water park for the kids. Nice restaurants. Very pricey. Honestly, I wouldn’t stay there, but that’s just me. They have slips I’m sure you can tie up for the night. Just have to find a place to launch. http://www.latorrettalakeresort.com/
There are probably several places on the East side of the lake. I don’t know much about that end but others here could probably chime in.
Oh, there’s a Best Western within crawling distance from Papa’s & Wolfies. If you keep your boat at a marina you could easily drive back. Walk if you had to. Watch out for the cars on hwy105.
Hope this helps a little.

We usually get a slip at WaterPoint Marina. It's where Sam's Boat, Fajita Jacks, and other Restaurants are located. We stay on the boat as they have showers and bathrooms. There are 2 hotels within walking distance also.
