I am sure your boat sticks out like a sore thumb there

Cool video, they still haven't finished! My buddy keeps wanting me to go up to Rayburn. Is there a lot of rentals up there? Might try to set up something next year.

Compared to a lake like Travis, yes....but compared to most lakes it's pretty substantial. You aren't going to get a big cruise in without turning around though.

When I lived in Gatesville, I would prowl around Belton in my 35 Fountain. Game warden was a dick and would "safety check" me like clock work. He would drop suggestions about Belton being a family lake and for pontoons and bass boats. Real POS IMO...

Read that a couple of Lewisville/Dallas guys haven't been up to Texoma yet. I don't have a ton of experience there as I just moved to OK from Fort Worth/Eagle Mountain, but have been out several times this year. Each Marina I have been to has been very well kept and felt very safe leaving the truck/trailer on land and boat overnight in a courtesy slip. Ceder Mills marina very nice. Lighthouse Marina near Pottsboro was very nice and sort of secluded from the busy part of the lake. Last weekend we rented out a Cabin(full trailer) that was very nice at Lighthouse Marina and stayed Fri-Sun. It was perfect, not a stitch of wind and hit the islands all weekend. Can't say enough about Texoma compared to the other TX lakes (PK, Lewisville, Eag Mt) I have been too. Plenty of room to run and play....only saw one lake patrol all weekend.

UD - I do but my boat like yours is still in the shop. My second motor should be getting finished up within 2 weeks so hopefully I have the boat back by mid Sept and she is running good.

They are not finished yet. There are several places to rent. I know a couple of houses that are for rent, but they are not advertised. They also have Sam Rayburn Marina Resort and Bass Busters Inn. PM me if you need more info.

Good Luck. In March, the boat shop told me my boat would be ready in 3 weeks. I can't believe they have had my boat for over 8 months now. They are suppose to be putting the engines in this week. We will see.

Thats uber ghey. I have yet to be checked with the Nordic. No one really bothers me at all lol. No one eve wants to play, everyone just kind of moves aside for the most part. I like going to the bigger lakes with more performance oriented people.
