How hard is it navigating around the area? Is there alot of shallow spots?

Yes. Stay in marked channels until you learn where to go. I've bumped bottom several times. Hahaha.

And yes Dixie is fun. Should be a good time Thursday night at a concert there

Like ICU said, yes shallow spots, if you don't know the area, three letters, GPS my friend and you'll be fine, have fun.

We went to the Yucatan by car Saturday and had blast, great place.
