I got them back two weeks ago and did not get to run them yet. I got the boat all cleaned up for the boat show in the Superdome next week. I will run the boat after the show and post then. Brett did tell me that I had 14 1/2% slip and with a pair of custom labbed 15X34 3 blades 110 mph was not out of range??? And yes Brett is the Man!! I like dealing with him. I know when I get them back they are write.

Right now they are set at 1 3/4 in. With 26 psi water pressure on the starboard and 18 psi on the port side. We will play with some set ups soon.

TB Racing:

Do you run through hull water pickups or pull water from the lower?

Is the boat a true tunnel or do you have a center pod? If true tunnel do you have a tab and does it hop at all in the midrange. Tell us how the boat handles is it flighty on the top end, leaning during turning and how does it handle the rough water etc...

What is the approximate cost of this set-up turn key ie... with trailer keys in hand. Seeing how you will be at the boat show this will be the most common question if not the primary one.

I want to thank you for posting pictures of your gorgeous boat your hard work paid off---great job.

Spectres are real cats, no pod.

No through hull water pickup just the sportmaster lower unit.
No center pod on the Spectre.
The 32' with outboards has very little hop.
The sky is the limit with paint and other things. Talk to Jay about the pricing since the show is over.

Thanks, Tommy

TB Racing -

What props are you running on your 32 and at what RPM? What is the limiter on the 300XS?

Reason I ask -

I own a Spectre 30 and currently swing 15 X 32 Merc Cleavers (3 blade and NOT labbed) with my 300 Promax's. My plan is to get rid of the Promax's and buy a pair of new 300XS's.

Thanks.

Ignore last post. I just found an old PM that answered my question.
