That's what I was quoted today on a 2000 with a pair of 300X's from my Allstate agent. I'm afraid it might be too good to be true and don't want to be on the hook with a boat that went from $1500 to insure to $5000. I'm on the fence between this Spectre and a Cigarette. Total opposite ends of the spectrum huh? :D

I'll second that, he had the best price out of all of the calls I made. He had my DCB before so it was natural that I went back to him but I did check his qoute. I pay less then $4K a year. 3 DUI's and four speeding tickets and a boat stolen a year ago........... just kidding. I have a perfect driving record, with 3 years cat experience and I am 31 years old.

Re: How much for insurance??

My fuel and insurance costs have risen 110% since I bought my boat in 2003. Just E-mailed WorldWide Marine (Bob) and asked for a quote. Seasafe underwriters wanted 6500.00. GEEZZZZ Im 48years old with a impeccable driving record. No claims, 3 yrs. cat exp. numerous safe driving awards. This industry is forcing me out of the loop at this rate. I can't budget for these kind of increases or EVEN JUSTIFY it anymore. This boat might be for sale by months end if Bob doesn't come through.
