How much for insurance??

$6,500! OUCH! I can see paying $6,500 for a 32' with a pair of 650's or something but not a 100 plus mph 30'. I hear you guys, if my boat cost that much to insure I would be selling mine as well. There comes a point where it just isn't worth nor can I justify that much for something I don't use that much.

I've got my 2004 36 with merc 575 insured through axis through Bob L @ worldwide 5,300 with 5 month lay up 20 years exp/no claims they are even insuring my Nor-tech 4300 cat with big power...In my oponion ,he's the most logical choice. Bernie good luck with the new 30

Well, I cant get a call back from Bob at WW. I guess after I told him Seasafe quoted 6k I was no longer a MARK. Were all nothing but boat horz to these people makin them ritcher quicker. So I guess it goes up for sale this weekend...Im not payin nor do I have 6k for insurance..I guess this is gonna be a rich mans sport for sure now..I always thought with a little preserverence I could make this happen even on a blue collar salary. They proved me wrong.
