no..it worked like a charm...

It I hadn't found a great dual ram Mayfair at a good price used, I would have put a single ram on the 288 also.

Jeff:

Care to share the details about the night goggles? Model #, perhaps, as a start? I've shy'd away, due to price and questionable performance.
______

WPM dual ram - $2300 installed. I'm not going full hydraulic.

RumRunner,
If I go with a new steering system I will most likely go with a WPM single ram system to go with my cable helm. However a guy from OSO that lives close to me may be selling a similiar IMCO system with only 50hrs on it.
As far as the engine, we totally rebuilt it last year. It was a 330 HP 454 and we made some significant but conservative changes. It ran absolutly great with no problems, but I think my head choice and camshaft profile was a little to conservative and I am looking to kick those items up a notch or two. It ran so good I should probably just leave it alone.

Bayley,
You are right about that comment. I was delirious, the motto around my house " if it an't broke, fix it anyway."

Jeff:

About the goggles - that post by Bruce was really by me, he was the last one to use this 'puter on this site (that's auto login for 'ya) - don't have access rights to delete the post for some reason.

Anyway, I'm interested in knowing what model # you bought.

I plan on enjoying my new 32' Sunsation, this will be my first summer with it. I can't wait untill spring only three more months. I may experiment with different props. Has any one put extention boxes on a 32, just curious.
