We have now taken the boat back in on trade and have it available for sale on the classifieds. The customer stepped up to a 43 F4. The boat now has 50hrs on it, smells like new, and is priced to move. With the price of fuel and insurance the 32SS with 6.2s is a great option. Wish you luck on your search!
That is a great looking boat I have run with him before and with 6.2's and oil $100 a barrel it may be the way to go.

Thanks for the input guys on the wood thing. I just get worried it'll rot out (Previous bad experiences)

You're not going to have any issues with rot out... Period.

To me the only reason one could have issues is:
1. defect (which factory would stand behind)
2. lack of maintenance

Supposed to get to the 60s here Saturday to Tuesday.

Got cold this week for 36 hours, but warmed back up today.

Usually it's too humid and hot to overnight in the boat, so we hotel it on the water. That's why I was thinking the MCOB route especially cause I bring out the family and friends a lot.

I really liked the rigging and the solid-feel of the boat at the show. Now it's a matter of seeing how the insurance will work out on the 33 OL to see how much I can afford on the replacement.

Question, when did Sunsation go to woodless in the hulls? (I'm assuming they are woodless now?) Just want to make sure I look for one after that year.

-mike
Mike,

Cheapest 32 MCOB out there right now. 228 Hours on the hull, about 12 on the power. Both motors changed under warranty by Mercury with extended warranty until Dec 2010. All maintenance records since new, triple axle aluminum trailer, new covers and carpets. http://www.offshoreonlyclassifieds.c...o18013-en.html

This was the 2nd or 3rd 32 MCOB built by Sunsation and was featured on the cover of Hot Boat in March 04- http://www.sunsationboats.com/articles/hotboat0304.pdf
They built only the 288 MCOB before 04 so there are no 32 MCOB's prior to 2004.
I am moving to something bigger/faster.......................

I will second the comments JS made about the Sunsation gang at the factory. I have called many times and have always hung up with satisfaction.

Gonna be putting mine on the market soon. Not sure if I'm going bigger, or newer, or both...
