The only rings we've seen so far are smoke rings...coming from Puffy...I think he thinks he's a bee keeper....one of the hazards of a bee keeper....they do get stung....often.

PS: Bumble Bees don't store honey...that's way they are so agile...they're not preoccupied with frivolous stuff.

Oh..and one other factoid about Bbumble Bees..when they sting, they do not lose their stinger.

There has been a buzz (pun intended) about a new look for Puff in 2008.

I'm guessing the new look will debut in Miami...don't forget to include "2007 SBI/APBA/UIM World Champion" prominently in the scheme...you earned it. The Coast Guard should be proud.

Will you also be installing a smoke generator and flame thrower?

Puff is getting a whole new make over.....
I was going to put in some big power and #6's for 08 till you boys want to tast some more saltwater......plus I thing P3 is going to be a great class fro twin engine boats 34 to 40 foot.....there are so many older twins and Supe Vee's out there that this class had big potental for 15 boats....so we will stay around.....
BUT....the new cockpit, hatch, and few other changes will only make Puff quicker....
AND a new paint scheme that we are working with the C.G. with.....Were presenting the trophy and the checkered flag to the Admiral next month.....

I can see it now, you all dressed up and looking good for the Admiral and his staff. Anybody going to take pictures? SBI Staff said they need some for the scrap book...I'll take a couple of wallet size for myself.

There's something else I wanted to talk to you about...

I hear you've been over looking inside the Bee Hive and taking notes...I guess you where just trying to get some good ideas on how to make it nice and cozy down there in the Dragon Pit. So...have you decided yet?...are you going for the satellite XM or Sirius radio? What about chilled seats, are they on the list too?

I highly recommend windshield wipers...they don't cost that much....and your gonna need them. Don't worry about the rear view mirror...that little thing you've got will work just fine...especially since nobody's going to be behind you.

If you need some help putting all this together...I'll bee happy to give you a hand...just give me a buzzzzzzzzz.

A third seat is going in for us to take some important people for rides in 08....

and a 12 inch flat screen monitor to see you behind us...
so no need for windshield wipers....
also a onboard camera both in cockpit and off the transom to down load to the web site....

Puff is going to loss another 200 lbs in a high area....which will bring her down to 7100 lbs dry....

Moving all gauges to monster and on a new dash....

All new tabs and headsup display....

new hood scoops with direct flow to engine breathers

all new props

plus we are adding some new associate sponsors....

Let's see if I've got this right....

Puff's going on a diet.

Getting a nose job (so he can breath better...ok)

Getting a butt lift kit.

Remodeling so some friends can come over.

Getting a new big screen and video system.

Changing all the clocks and instrument faces to big numbers.

Getting a whole new bunch of "associates"

and getting some shiny new wheels.


Almost sounds like Puff is going through a crisis...got a few extra pounds...needs a face lift...needs glasses..all the old friends are off doing their thing, so he's making some new friends...getting some sporty wheels...fixing up the place so the new friends will feel comfortable...and on the hush about other "improvements"

Well...good for you Puff...just because your a little older and got a few stress cracks here and there doesn't mean you should be relegated to the Poker Run table. You've still got your top speed and can keep up the pace as good as any of them. You still have a lot of good races left in you. And all that experience...well that just doesn't come with a new model.

I'm proud of you....We've seen some of the others just give up and now they're wasting away on the trailer...remembering the days when they where in the hunt. But not you Puff...your a champion...and ready to give it another round. I'll bet those other quitters are wishing they could come out and do what you are doing.

She is going into her 4th year of racing....and is still kicking...

So to Black Pearl, Fury, Pier57 with her hat cut off, The Bad Boys, Cancun Cantina, Hot Licks, Wanted, and the rest of those boats collecting dust....will it be RIP....or come out and make a run with us.....

I had more calls in the last month if I was still selling the Dragon....more calls then when I had her for sale a year ago....so bring them out and show everyone that there kicking and can run.....and at the same time....have a great time in Miami.....
