First Superboat Ride of 2005

What Idles at 650rpm and has the power to reach 4800+rpm while spinning a 28p Bravo I prop?
My new 502!
Needless to say I'm vary happy with the output of my new motor!
76.4mph with 3 people, 3/4 tank, and 18 beers...
Bash is right, a little chop helps with top speed numbers!
I don't think she'll get 80, but fumes, alone and a 1' chop, 77-78...

Damn! I have to get out and see if I can top Pat's new numbers.
I'm going to try a run with my Mirage +. I'm wondering if now with full hydraulic steering the boat may handle a little better with the Mirage.

Henry and T braved a windy chilly afternoon for their first boat ride of the year...
No high speed numbers to report. She never rev-ed over 3000rpm today...
